Rural Cambodia Community Project Dec 2006

Aoral District is a poor rural district in Cambodia Kampong Speu region, around 4.5 hours by road from Phnom Penh. There are no doctors in the district and many villagers suffer from poor health. Aoral is also a malarial area.

In Dec 2006, CampusImpact partnered Project Khmer H.O.P.E. (Humanitarian Outreach for Peace on Earth) or PKH to refurbish the only health centre in the district.  This health centre will serve as a base for visiting doctors to offer medical treatments.
